Vyshak K

Foot Artist | India

Vyshak was born on 1st October 1994, in Kannur, Kerala, as a healthy baby but without both hands. Even with his unfortunate physical condition, little Vyshak was a charming and pleasant boy in his childhood. He managed to do all of his daily routines by himself. His parents sent him to school where he learned to write with his foot, encouraged by the teachers from Ettukudukka U.P.School, Kannur. He completed his higher secondary education with very good marks from Cheemeni Higher Secondary school, Kasaragod. He wrote both the examinations with his left foot. Vyshak started drawing pictures with his foot early from his primary classes. The parents and teachers strongly supported his attempts.

During that period, he participated in various art and painting competitions including district-level school art contests and got appreciations. Besides the school exhibitions, his paintings were selected for the art show of ‘Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan’. Vyshak has been a member of MFPA since 2015. In 2011, he met Mr Ganesh Kumar who is a renowned mouth painter in India and visited him to learn the basic theories of painting. Mr Ganesh Kumar told him about MFPA and its immense support to the artists who draw and paint without hands.
