Sabar Subadri

The foot-painting artist Sabar Subadri was born in Salatiga on 4th January 1979. He was born without arms and with one leg shorter than the other. He uses his feet to do most everyday jobs. From the age twelve; that is from 1991, Sabar has been supported as a scholarship holder by the association. In 2011 he became an Associate Member of AMFPA.

Sabar’s favourite themes include the landscapes of his homeland, animals and people. For these themes, he prefers the technique of oil painting. The talented foot painter has already participated in several national painting competitions where he won prizes. His solo exhibitions also received attention.
