Srilekha Mandalapalli

Born with a rare congenital condition known as Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita that has almost paralyzed both her limbs, Srilekha Mandalapalli is confined to a wheelchair and requires help with all her daily chores. Born on 8th June 1982, in Hyderabad, despite her tragic health condition, Srilekha’s love for art developed at a very young age and her disability never stopped her from becoming an accomplished mouth painter.

After completing her graduation in 2003, she started fabric painting and soon went on to master oil painting. She strives her best to motivate and help others with disabilities like herself and she also conducts motivational workshops at Institutes, Schools and Corporates. Because of her ardent passion for art, she started art classes for kids of all age groups. Srilekha has been a member of MFPA since 2013.
