Blue Vase

Blue is the colour of royalty. This blue vase stands tall and powerful, showing off its charming femininity in the company of roses, looking like a snap from the classical still life. The elegant antique, vintage aesthetic rings a bell of the popular saying, “Old is Gold.” An exquisite still life art depicted to reality to jazz up a wall or home corner.

“Still life with roses in blue vase”

-Oil on Canvas, Mouth Painted

Art by M.V. Ravindran

Mouth Artist from India

M. V. Ravindran was born in Payyanur, Kerala on 1 March 1969. At the tender age of two, he fell ill with polio which left both his legs and hands paralysed. He was not able to cope with school and had to drop out eventually. Painting was one of the few things that gave him joy and so he met and visited a well-known mouth painter who lived closeby. Under his guidance, he began painting with his mouth. He practised incessantly until he mastered the technique. Ravindran uses oil and acrylic paint for his paintings. His favourite themes include the landscapes of his homeland, flowers and people.
