Mr. Wayne Wiri W. Terangi was born on October 15, 1970 in Pukekohe where he went to primary, junior high and high school. In December 1985 the artist had an accident at work; since then he has been suffering from C4 tetraplegia and has been paralyzed from the neck downwards. In November 1991 Mr. Terangi began painting with his mouth. He was an autodidact and later took private lessons. Mr. Terangi attended an art college and learned how to paint portraits, fruit and flower stills. Hobbies: computer, graphics, chess, music and he loves dogs.
