Uttam Kumar was born on 2nd February 1979 in the small village of Majouri, Jammu and Kashmir, into a family of modest means. Despite being declared 60% disabled, with non-functioning hands and a right leg, his parents showered him with love and unwavering belief in his potential. Against the odds, Uttam learned to draw using his left foot, persevering even through the criticism and challenges life threw his way. After passing 12th class, Uttam’s talent began to shine. He participated in numerous art exhibitions and public shows, earning recognition and awards for his incredible skills. His journey has inspired many, proving that no obstacle is too great to overcome with determination and passion.
