Art by Bracha Fischel
Mouth Artist from Israel
Bracha Fischel was born in April 1959 in Zurich. She attended primary as well as secondary school, after which she successfully completed her training as a nurse. In 2006, Bracha contracted rheumatoid arthritis, which affected not only her joints but also her spinal column, eventually causing her to lose the use of all her limbs. She was given her very first lessons in writing and mouth painting by Barbara Blum. She continued to practice mouth painting
through self-study, and was able to achieve remarkable progress in her technique. Bracha’s beloved dog stays by her side at all times and even
helps her in her painting related tasks.
