Zi-Ming Xie was born on November 3, 1973, in Shanghai, suffering from congenital cerebral paralysis, which left him with total paralysis of all four extremities. In 1983, he first showed an interest in mouth painting and taught himself the craft. With remarkable determination, he made rapid progress. Zi-Ming has already contributed to several group exhibitions in Shanghai.
