Mouth Artist from Taiwan

Chia-Syun Chang’s life took a drastic turn in 2004 when a workplace accident left him paralyzed from the neck down. Born on February 1, 1981, in Taichung, his world shifted after the accident, but it didn’t dampen his spirit. Inspired by seeing artists paint using their mouths, Chia-Syun decided to try mouth painting himself. What began as a self-taught effort blossomed into a passion, especially after receiving private lessons from renowned teacher Lin Shwu-Chyn. Now, Chia-Syun paints stunning portraits of humans, animals, and landscapes, expressing his deep connection to the world through oil paints. Since 2020, he’s proudly served as an Associate Member of MFPA, inspiring others with his talent and resilience.
