Foot Artist from Switzerland

Marlyse Tovae was born without arms on 27 July 1933 in Strasbourg. From a young age, she mastered the use of her feet to perform daily tasks and later dedicated herself to painting. She studied under the painter Marthe Kiehl and attended the Strasbourg art school, excelling in both painting and other artistic crafts like ceramics and mosaics. Marlyse became one of the founding members of the VDMFK and was its President from 1985 until her passing in 2001. She exhibited her works worldwide, receiving numerous awards and honors throughout her career.
